When David Hockney gives you advice you listen

Color blocking architecture at it’s best.

This 1,100 square feet house was designed by and for Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat in Shelter Island, New York.

I just love it.  And the cool thing is they are really friends with  David Hockney. “He said he always knows how great an artist is by how great the artist is he copies”  they quoted him.

You can really see the inspiration they took from Hockney’s work.
